Work backwards from check-in
Start with the time your airline requires you to be at CUN, then allow the road journey, possible traffic and pickup coordination. A three-hour drive from the Tulum beach road cannot use the same pickup rule as a nearby Cancún hotel. Ask for a confirmed pickup time rather than applying one universal formula.
Confirm the date around midnight
A flight shortly after midnight can require leaving your hotel on the preceding calendar date. Check both dates in the written confirmation. Dates and pickup times should be understood in the local Cancún time zone, America/Cancun.
Make the pickup location practical
For resorts, agree on the lobby or vehicle entrance. For gated rentals, obtain access permission. For pedestrian streets or beach properties, choose an accessible meeting point with your host. Be ready with your bags at the agreed location.
Round trip means two confirmed legs
Our planning estimate combines two one-way journeys on the same route. Do not assume a return is booked merely because an arrival is confirmed. Check the return date, flight, pickup time, hotel and passenger count explicitly. Changes of hotel or airport require a new quote.
