Cancún Airport transfer to Bahia Principe Explore Akumal
Bahia Principe Explore Akumal is the current name of the former Luxury Akumal property at the Km 250 resort address. Akumal identifies a particular hotel within the wider Bahia development. It should not be replaced by a general Bahia Principe or Tulum label when choosing a reception for the road transfer.
Akumal, Kantenah and the Bahía Principe resort corridor
Approximate road journey: 75–110 min. Arrival formalities, baggage collection and terminal waiting are additional.
Full zone details →Will the old Luxury Akumal name still find the right hotel?
It remains a search alias for Explore Akumal. Include the exact reservation and the Akumal section when checking your quote. If the accommodation instead names Tulum or Coba, have the hotel selection corrected; recognising an old brand does not make all Bahia receptions interchangeable.
Confirm the correct property
The official name is now Bahia Principe Explore Akumal; Luxury Akumal remains a search alias. Specify Akumal rather than the Tulum or Coba section.
