The Cancún Hotel Zone is the long coastal strip around the lagoon, including Punta Cancún and Punta Nizuc. A hotel at the northern bend and a property near the southern airport approach can have different road times within this zone.
Playa Mujeres is north of the city
Playa Mujeres is a resort development reached from the northern Cancún corridor. Hotels such as ATELIER and Finest do not use the same route as a Boulevard Kukulcán resort. Check the complete property name in the hotel selector.
Costa Mujeres extends farther north
Costa Mujeres includes another stretch of resort coast. Marketing labels sometimes overlap, so our zone assignment is a quoting category based on the exact property. Confirm the hotel and agreed fare if its address or entrance differs from your reservation.
Riviera Cancun often means south of the airport
A resort with Riviera Cancun in its name may be near Puerto Morelos or Bahía Petempich. Dreams Riviera Cancun, Dreams Playa Mujeres and Dreams Sands Cancun are distinct properties. Never select a zone using a hotel chain name alone.
